Requirements for ladle lining materials
1.1 Thermal shock resistance
The ladle is operated intermittently. In each section of the ladle, its internal temperature varies widely. During the violent change of the internal temperature of the ladle, the lining refractory material is required to be free from cracks and has good thermal shock resistance. .
1.2 Slag corrosion resistance
In the process of ladle continuous casting, the slag layer on the molten steel surface gradually decreases as the molten steel flows out from the bottom of the ladle, and the ladle lining refractory material has a long contact time with the slag, which requires good slag erosion resistance.
1.3Anti-scour
In the process of molten steel refining, molten steel forms a huge plume inside the ladle, which seriously scours the refractory lining of the ladle, requiring good erosion resistance.

2.1 Aluminum-magnesium castables
